TERRY WAKEFIELD Talks To DENIS GIFFORD
COMIC BITS #1,March,2002
One of the last things I arranged with the late Denis Gifford was to reprint interviews he had carried out with Golden Age British comic creators. After all,Denis had spent his life collecting and writing about comics and had managed to talk to more than one creator before the Grim Reaper struck.
My computer files are useless due to technical problems but here are scans from COMIC BITS #2 and some extra art added!
TERRY WAKEFIELD & WALTER BELL circa 1976

Odd to think that, elsewhere in the World, comic creators have continued working into their 70s and 80s but not in the UK. Come 65 and you were out!
